Mapei Ultrabond Turf PU 1K

Premium Fast-Setting Urethane Adhesive for Strong, Long-Lasting Synthetic Turf Seams

Mapei Ultrabond Turf PU 1K is a premium, one-component, moisture-curing polyurethane adhesive engineered for superior seaming of synthetic turf. This fast-setting urethane formula delivers exceptional bond strength that exceeds FIFA standards (EN 12228 and EN 13744), making it the trusted choice for professional sports fields, training pitches, educational facilities, commercial landscapes, and residential artificial grass installations.

Key Features & Benefits:

• Fast-setting performance — Achieves strong initial grab (superior green strength) with working time of 30-45 minutes and setting in 45-90 minutes (at 23°C/50% RH).
• Weather-resistant & versatile — Ideal for both interior and exterior use, withstanding temperatures from -30°C to +80°C once cured.
• Easy, no-mix application — Ready-to-use single-component design eliminates mixing errors; apply with a notched trowel (No. 3 or 4) on jointing tape such as Ultrabond Turf Tape.
• High durability — 100% solids content, zero VOC emissions in many tests, excellent elongation (approx. 280%), and shear strength well above 75 N/100 mm.
• Proven for high-traffic areas — Perfect for football pitches, hockey fields, playgrounds, rooftops, and landscaping projects requiring long-lasting, invisible seams.

Whether you're installing FIFA-quality sports turf or creating a low-maintenance backyard oasis in Melbourne's variable climate, Ultrabond Turf PU 1K ensures seams stay strong against heavy foot traffic, UV exposure, rain, and temperature swings. Available in convenient packaging (including 600 ml cartridges and larger pails), it's the professional installer's go-to for reliable, high-performance synthetic turf bonding.
