Gi Care Instructions

Mizuno Gi / Kimono Care Instructions.
It is very important to care for your Mizuno Gi. Caring for your Mizuno Martial Art uniform will ensure longevity as well as a clean and hygienic uniform. Please observe the following instructions to care for your Gi.
· Due to the natural 100% cotton fibres, do not use chlorine bleaches when washing your Mizuno Gi. Use a small amount of mild laundry detergents along with an non evasive anti-bacterial additive.
· Avoid washing with other colours – always wash separately.
· Always air out your Mizuno Gi after every use or wash. Never leave it in a closed gym bag as it is unhygienic for you and your fellow martial artists.
· Use lukewarm water ~ 30 degrees.
· Avoid using clothes dryers.
· The natural cotton fibre material used in your Mizuno Gi will naturally shrink between 5 – 9 % after the first initial washes. (Excludes Mizuno Euro Comp which is Pre-Shrunk)
