Patches come already sewn on both shoulders, one lapel side and 2 pants side legs and one circular patch along the leg. Patched on the right lapel to allow you to add your academy or own patch to the left lapel.

Fuji Kassen Jiu-Jitsu Gi Review January 17, 2012

I recently purchased this Gi from grapplingstore.com (which provided fast delivery of the product). The Gi is a decent fit for my build (midget and too heavy) if not a touch too long, would fit a tall lean person perfectly.

The A2 jacket fit perfectly without attempt to shrink it. The pants however needed to be shrunk and the length turned out great but the waist is still a bit big now but I guess that’s what the ties for.

The pearl weave is a pretty good weave, its heavy but not too heavy, and very sturdy. The jacket is not really built for using the lower lapel for chokes on you opponents as it’s pretty short.

Overall a good Gi, well priced and hopefully will last a long time. My misses also commented on how “cute” it looked, don’t know if that a good thing for grappling though.
